About NMAT Examination
NMAT (Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test) is one of India's most prestigious management entrance examinations, conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Since 2015, GMAC has been responsible for conducting this computer-based test that serves as a gateway to some of India's top business schools.
What makes NMAT unique is its candidate-friendly approach. Unlike other MBA entrance exams, NMAT allows candidates to appear for the test up to three times in a single admission year, and the best score among all attempts is considered for admission purposes. This flexibility reduces pressure on students and allows them to improve their performance.
The test is accepted by over 50 leading B-schools across India, including prestigious institutions like NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR Mumbai, ISB Hyderabad & Mohali, TAPMI Manipal, and many others. The exam is designed to assess candidates' aptitude for management education through three key areas: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.
